Howdy! My name is McKenzie Baldock. I'm an artist hailing from Arizona, presently residing in Colorado.

I attended Grand Canyon University and graduated with my Bachelors in Graphic Design in 2015. I developed my Graphic Design and Animation skills there. During my schooling I also learned to tattoo professionally. I was mentored at Diamond Body Art. I later worked at Davian’s and Level Up in Thornton, Colorado. After 5 years of tattooing, I decided to focus on freelancing and design.

As one who is known to have many irons in the fire, I also began working freelance as a mural and freelance commission artist. My favorite aspect of being a freelance artist is the variety of needs my clients have, and finding a way to make it come to life. I’m drawn to the challenge that comes with a project with limitations.

These days my most common projects are branding and graphic design jobs. It’s always a treat getting to see my work in print; I especially love seeing my label designs in the hands of a customer using the product. I enjoy studying design and keeping current with styles and techniques. I plan on always staying up to date with the incredible changes in our field, with AI in particular.
